Fairbury Combined Sewer Overflow Improvements | $2,600,000

Rehabilitation and improvement work to the existing Waste Water Treatment Plant, pump stations, and approximately 9,000 lineal feet of gravity sewer and force main installation. In doing this work, combined sewer overflows were eliminated, and aged piping and pump stations were upgraded so more flow can be transported to the plant for treatment. Completed in 2021.

Illinois American Water Main Station Electrical Upgrades | $6 Million

Illinois American Water Company and Donohue & Associates teamed with Foster Jacob for this award-winning project at the 20-million- gallon-per-day Main Station Water Treatment Facility. The project refurbished a previously removed vertical turbine high service pump to resolve pumping deficiencies, upgraded the electrical distribution system from 2.4 kV to 13.2 kV to meet current standards, provided electrical redundancy for continuous water treatment operations, and minimized equipment flooding potential.
